Program
Bachelor of Science in Nursing transforms student nurses into globally competitive healthcare professionals who can competently provide safe and quality care through the aide of nursing research and critical inquiry nursing education.
About
June 1, 2003 marked the opening of the College of Nursing offering the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, the first paramedical degree program of the university since the adoption of the trimester scheme. There were 875 enrollees comprised of degree holders, transferees and fresh high school graduates. The first Dean of the college was Ms. Norenia T. Dao-ayen and the Instructors were Ms. Shirley G. Delos Santos, Ms. Judith Odanee G. Magwilang, Dr. Mario G. Imson and Dr. Ma. Geraldine A. La Madrid.

UC College of Nursing envisions itself as a community of dedicated, responsible scholars providing quality education to develop committed, compassionate and culturally bound professional nurses.

UC College of Nursing transforms student nurses to become globally competitive leaders and managers in any health care setting.
Milestones
2003
• Opening of the College of Nursing under the Trimester scheme implementing the CHED Memo No. 30 series of 2001 of the Bachelor of Science of Nursing Program.
2004
• The College of Nursing transferred to the restructured building at the Legarda, Campus.
• (To 2005) The transition period in the implementation of the trimester to semestral regular program
2005
• Government recognition no.018 series of 2005-granted to UC to operate the course Bachelor of Science in Nursing effective SY 2005-2006
2006
• The College is transferred to the 12-storey constructed building at EDS Building Main Campus.
• 1st board examination result with 82 %overall passing rate placing the college 9th ranked among the 300 schools and colleges of nursing all over the Philippines.
2009
• Implementation of the CHED memo num. 14. series of 2009 of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
2013
• Launching of the NC II on Caregiving and Health Care Services for all faculty members in partnership with TESDA and BCSAT, including BSN graduates as holder of this certificate annually.
2018
• Implementation of the CHED memo num. 15 series of 2017 of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
2019
• (To February 2022) LEVEL 1 Certificate of Accreditation from Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).
2021
• CHED granted the certificate of Authority to Re -open Campus for the Conduct of Limited face to face classes for Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
